Another Milestone of CDRRMO: The Last Batch of Barangay DRRMP and Contingency Planning Workshop!

Today marks a moment of both accomplishment and anticipation as we embark on the final leg of our Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Planning journey. With great pride and excitement, we launch the last batch of updates for our Barangay DRRM Plans and Contingency Plans.

The participants are from District 17 and 19 which includes barangay Alfonso Tabora, Magsaysay-Private Road, Aurora Hill Proper, New Lucban, Brookside, Brookspoint, Lopez Jaena, East Modern Site, West Modern Site, North Sanitary Camp, South Sanitary Camp, and Trancoville.

The 9th batch of Barangay DRRMP and Contingency Planning Workshop had commenced. It is relevant to update their plans as part of their disaster preparedness especially since the city is still experiencing Monsoon Rains.

Participants are from District 9 and District 12 which includes barangays Atok Trail, Kias, Loakan-Apugan, Loakan-Liwanag, Loakan Proper, PMA-Fort Del Pilar, Ambiong, Bayan Park Village, East Bayan Park, North Central Aurora Hill, San Antonio Village, South Central, and West Bayan Park. - JML

The Barangay DRRMP and Contingency Planning Workshop continues as part of capacity building initiative of the CDRRMO.

The 4-day planning activity is timely as the city has recently experienced the destructive effects of Super Typhoon Egay. It is an excellent opportunity to strengthen their preparedness capacity.

The participating barangays are from District 14 and District 16 which include Bakakeng Norte/Sur, Dontogan, SLU-SVP, Santo Tomas Proper, Santo Tomas Central, Middle Quezon Hill, Pinsao Proper, Quezon Hill Proper, Upper Quezon Hill, Victoria Village, and Irisan. - JML

This time, we have participants from Districts 6 and 10, including the following Barangays: Harrison-Claudio-Carantes, Lower General Luna, Malcolm Square, Session-Gov. Pack Rd., Upper General Luna, Andres Bonifacio, Camp Allen, Campo Filipino, Fairview, Kayang Extension, MRR Queen of Peace, Upper Market, and Salud Mitra.

Halfway Today!

We've reached a major milestone in our journey toward a safer, more resilient community! Today, we kickstart the 5th batch to update our Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) and Contingency Plans.

Our participants for this batch consist of 13 Barangays, including Country Club Village, Happy Hallow, Lucnab, Lualhati, South Drive, Outlook Drive, Balsigan, BGH Compound, Burnham-Legarda-Kisad, Ferdinand, Imelda Marcos, Phil-Am, and Sto. Rosario Valley.

Despite the rainy day, the 3rd batch of barangays for the review and updating of Barangay DRRM Plan and Contingency Plan is still on the go.

The third batch includes Camp 7, Camp 8, Military Cut-Off, Poliwes, San Vicente, Cresencia Village, Guisad Central, Guisad Surong, Pinsao Pilot Project, Padre Burgos, Padre Zamora, Lower Magsaysay, and Sto.Niño-Slaughter House.

We are thrilled to announce that the first batch of their Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Plan and Contingency Plan formulation has started today! From May 16 to 19, they will review, update, and align their existing plans to the barangay budget.

The first batch consisted of 12 Barangays, including Gibraltar, Mines View Park, Pacdal, Pucsusan, City Camp Central, City Camp Proper, Lower QM, Lower Rock Quarry, Middle Rock Quarry, Palma-Urbano, Upper QM, and Upper Rock Quarry.

With meticulous planning, collaboration, and insights from the CDRRMO, barangays will develop comprehensive strategies to mitigate risks and enhance our community's resilience. Together, we are taking proactive steps to ensure the safety and well-being of every resident.
